Things to do...at the house

OK then, apart from the 12x6 metre pool (May-Oct) and 50 acres to run around in ("What did the Romans ever do for us?") we have some other games and sports equipment  including:

 

  • Trampoline (see the movie!)

  • Table tennis

  • Badminton

 

  • Swing ball

  • Cards & board games: Risk, Monopoly, Cluedo

  • Some toys for younger guests

and

  • Cookery course if you hire Chef Frédérique (see Staff) during your stay

  • Well-being & Beauty moments with Caroline & Murielle (see Indulgences)

  • Qi Gong relaxing exercise with Lionel (see Indulgences)

  • and lastly, for those masochists amongst you, a Concept II Ergometer (a rowing machine and by no stretch of the imagination an indulgence)

Multimedia:

  • Broadband can be accessed wirelessly with a strong signal in the kitchen and on the South terrace and a little less satisfactorily in other parts of the house.  However, a hard wire connection is available in all the rooms, and therefore, if you bring your laptop, Radio 4 addicts can listen to the Today programme over breakfast through the kitchen speakers or in their rooms!

  • The house is equipped with satellite (UK) and terrestrial (French) TV and has a DVD, Video, Wii movement sensor (don't forget to bring the Wii console etc.), HiFi
