Caroline, an English friend established locally for the last 7 years, can come to Escrimis-La-Chapelle for half or full days to provide wonderfully relaxing therapies to our guests in their bedrooms or by the pool. She is fully trained and also works in a beauty institute in Condom. Her treatments range from well-established Swedish massage and reflexology to more unusual Chinese foot baths or even chocolate wrap! More details can be found on her leaflet maison d'être. A one day visit includes on average 10 treatments: depending on the type they can vary between 20 minutes and 1 hour in length so you can combine several short treatments or fewer longer ones. A type of ancient Chinese gymnastic (pronounced "Chi-Kong"). Whether you know this technique from your Yoga and Tai-Chi, or if you simply want to try out this gentle exercise (slow supple focused movements with breathing pattern), Lionel Lebon is happy to come to the house for your party (any age or fitness level). Professionally trained at a Paris Chinese Cultural Centre, Lionel runs Qi-Gong well-being and relaxation classes locally. Jean-Paul Cazelles runs Chronotours a company that hires out classic cars with their owner-drivers, and he has put together a home-to-home chauffeured day tour tailored for Escrimis-la-Chapelle! The chauffeurs are passionate about their genuine gems of shiny metal and leather ("as comfortable as a sofa on wheels"), and are also knowledgeable guides (in French) on Gascony. Of course the outing includes stopping for a lazy gascon lunch: choose from the country charm of L’Auberge de Larressingle, the classic haute cuisine of La Ferme de Flaran, or the heavens of Michelin-starred gastronomy at La table des Cordeliers… Take a look at the prospectus which shows some of the cars and details the itinerary.
